Volunteer at an event
Fancy trying something new? Want to expand your skills? Be a part of unlocking the most amazing buildings by volunteering with York Unlocked. Last year 60 people helped us as Volunteer Stewards. They managed queues, health and safety, chatted to visitors and greatly enhanced the weekend for the 14,000 visitors who attended.

A small team work through the year to organise York Unlocked. If you’d like to be part of our support team that deliver the festival get in touch. Tell us a bit about your skills and experience and we can let you know if there’s a role available for you.
