On 24th Oct, York Unlocked will welcome students from York High School to discuss some of York's most iconic buildings that are part of our 2023 programme.
Students will investigate the chronology of York's architecture, how we can look for clues about their age and function as well as decide which building is the most significant.
If you would like to arrange an education session or discuss how York Unlocked can support your school, please email education@york-unlocked.org.uk.
People who unable to attend in person can attend via our livestream event, hosted by Travel Vlogger JOHN WRIGHT. Follow these links to participate;

We have some guidelines for visitors.

Please email us at Info@york-unlocked.org.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Some buildings will require booking, but most are "general access" and do not require booking.
For all buildings that have tours available you can book online from the 9th September using the following link:
https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/york-unlocked-2023-tours-2463999
The days and times of building opening depend on what the "building owner" wants to do. Some will open 10am-4pm both days, others will open for one day only, or at specific times. Check the printed programme for details, or this website for updates as things can change
Tours were very popular in 2022. Most tour tickets were taken within a few hours of going "live". We expect building tours to be very popular in 2023 too. We recommend you view the programme and this website, select the tours you want, and make sure you're "online" as soon as bookings open at 10am on Sept 9th 2023.
